Tuition, made clearer
Put TEFA toward your child’s education.
Texas Education Freedom Accounts help awarded families pay approved educational expenses. The standard private-school award for 2026–27 is $10,474; your child’s actual award and available balance govern payment.
Choose your campus
Visit Sugar Land or Sienna. Discuss classroom fit, availability and an itemized tuition quote.
Confirm your award
Check state eligibility and funding. Select the correct MSSL campus in Odyssey and review the tuition entered by the school.
Authorize payment
When funded, use Odyssey’s Wallet → Tuition → Make a Payment. Confirming tuition alone does not send money.
Your family’s share
Total school charges − TEFA funds actually applied = your remaining cost.
TEFA is tuition assistance, not a promise of free school. The state releases private-school funding in 25% / 25% / 50% installments, rather than ten monthly deposits. Timing and proration depend on enrollment and program rules.
School approval does not guarantee a child an award. Check official eligibility or ask us about your campus tuition plan.

Pre-K & Kindergarten instruction
Our school-year plan runs August–May, ten months. Follow the school calendar for holidays and closures.
Care until 6 p.m.
Campus hours: 7 a.m.–6 p.m.
Before- and after-school care are available separately. Supervision fees are not TEFA-eligible.

Explore our summer camps. Summer dates and fees are separate; camp and childcare are not automatically covered by TEFA.

A few helpful answers
What parents ask first.
Is every Pre-K child eligible?
No. Pre-K has additional state eligibility requirements. Admission to MSSL and school participation do not guarantee a TEFA award. Check the official family guidance for your child’s situation.
Will TEFA pay all our tuition?
Your actual award, available balance and eligible tuition determine the amount covered. Your family pays any remaining balance and ineligible charges. Ask MSSL for an itemized campus quote.
Are before/after-school care and summer included?
Before/after-school supervision fees are excluded under current state guidance. MSSL offers these services and summer camps separately. Do not assume summer camp or childcare is TEFA-eligible.
How do we pay MSSL through TEFA?
After your award, select the correct campus in Odyssey. The school confirms enrollment and enters tuition and fees; you review the amount. When funded, authorize payment through Wallet → Tuition → Make a Payment. Confirming tuition alone does not send payment.
Can a new family apply now?
The 2026–27 application window is closed. The official family page offers a 2027–28 interest list and current updates. You are welcome to tour MSSL while planning ahead.
