For K–5 families, dependable care must connect your elementary school, campus, pickup route, and workday. MSSL offers school-age care with time for snack, homework support, activities, outdoor recreation, and friendships.

Schools and campus routes

Sugar Land lists Settlers Way, Colony Bend, and Lexington school communities. Sienna lists Scanlan, Schiff, Sienna Crossing, Leonetti, and Ferguson. These listings are a starting point: confirm your school’s current pickup route, participating campus, grade eligibility, and available space before arranging transportation.

A balanced afternoon

Children need room to recharge as well as support with responsibilities. The program includes structured homework support and supervised activities; ask how homework time, play, and outdoor recreation are arranged for your child’s age. Clarify which school materials should travel with your child each day.

School closures and breaks

Full-day care during FBISD closures has separate charges and enrollment conditions. The campus guides list different closure rates, so confirm the current rate for your campus and whether your child’s enrollment qualifies. Review the school calendar and make arrangements for each break in advance.

Transportation and pickup planning

Before the first day, confirm the school release arrangement, who to notify about an absence or transportation change, and authorized pickup adults. Call the office for a same-day change. Keep contact details current and request the written transportation and pickup procedures that apply to your family.
